​The following legislation is administered by the Department of Transport and Main Roads and provides the legislative framework for managing the passenger transport system:
·         the Transport Operations (Passenger Transport) Act 1994 (the Act)
·         the Transport Operations (Passenger Transport) Regulation 2005 (the Regulation)
·         the Transport Operations (Passenger Transport) Standard 2010 (the Standard).
